Ideas to Stress Down

There are lots of things you can do to Stress Down on Lifeline’s Stress Down Day.
Here are a couple of ideas:

Stress Down with a lunch or morning tea

  • set-up a Stress Down cafe providing tea and coffee in return for a donation
  • have a ‘cake-off’
  • cook something delicious to share with friends and colleagues

Stress Down with some physical activity, such as:

  • go for a walk or a jog with your friends or colleagues
  • organise some games or activities
  • have a paper chase
  • throw a frisbee during your lunch break

Stress Down by running a relaxation raffle

  • raffle a massage or day-spa visit
  • raffle a day off work or school if your workplace or school agree
  • raffle a pamper hamper with tea, soaps, chocolate and other nice stuff)

Stress Down by wearing your pyjamas all day (to work or school)

Stress Down with a fancy dress or theme day at work or school

Stress Down with a comedy event, such as

  • put together a 5-minute comedy skit with your friends or colleagues
  • organise a laughter hour in your board room or class room
